As shamanic people we need a consistent place to gather, drum, share our stories and ask for support for ourselves and our loved ones. This drum circle is core shamanic meaning that we come together to journey to our compassionate helping spirits for divination and healing. As a participant in the circle, you must know how to journey in order to support those in the circle requesting help. All the work done in the circle is confidential. We meet on the third Sunday of each month from 2-4pm.

In establishing the Sacred Legacy Drum Circle I journeyed to my helping spirits for the name of the circle. This is what I was told:

“Legacy–it’s the Legacy of the ancestors.  All of us.  Through the legacy of the circle teachings will return.  The ways will return.  The healing will be present because you come with open hearts.  Because you hold the highest good for yourself and others.  Feel this wisdom in every beat of the drum.  Trust this wisdom with every picture you are shown.  Share this truth so that others may benefit from our words, our pictures, our teachings and our healings.  Create a legacy.  Strong.  True.  Evolving.  Carry on traditions that are within us.  Speak our truth  our wisdom.  Join your spirit with all that have come before you– with all that live in the spirit realm.  Use our wisdom to fulfill your dreams to heal your wounded souls and carry on.  Together, together, always together.  It is through community that we heal, love and prosper.  The legacy continues:  the legacy of love, compassionate deep burgeoning love.  Be with us–be with us.  Invite us so that we may help you, heal you, teach you.  Aho Mitakuye Oyasin–Legacy, Legacy–Aho Mitakuye Oyasin.”
